Manuscript in a single hand by an unidentified author, describes the cure for gout perfected by Dr. Lebvre of Liège (Belgium). He supports his case for promoting the Dr. LeFebvre's cure by describing in detail four patients -- Mr. Robinson, Mrs. Catherine Myres, Laurence Yaune, and Mr. Kettleby -- and their gout symptoms along with the progress of their recovery during the 18-month long series of treatments using Dr. Lebvre's powders, for which the doctor charges one hundred guineas.
